Nukkad Natak

Nukkad Natak is a street-play competition of Dramatics at ZEST’16 where you speak in the language of the mass to bring out captivating issues which are also socially relevant. The main aim is to convey a social and political message in an entertaining environment,amidst the intimate and effective means of theatre by means of shout, chants, drums and catchy songs.

Rules

  • Maximum 20 members in one team.
  • Script should be original/self- written and should not be copied.
  • Points will be deducted for vulgarity.
  • Recorded music is not allowed, dholak, thapli can be used.
  • Negative points for exceeding the time limit.
  • ‘Danda’ and ‘Dupatta’ can be used as props.
  • Time Limit: 20 to 25 minutes
