C-Mania will test the programming skills of the students with the most important language of Programming- ‘C’. It will not only deal with your practical skills but also check your grasp on theory.

Rules and Regulations
  • There will be 4 rounds in the competition.
  • First two rounds of C-Mania will be held on Day 1 and next two will be on Day 2.
  • The first three rounds will be elimination rounds.
Round 1 – “C programming quotient”
  • All participants will be given a question paper which has to be solved in the given time. The highest scorer in the limited time will qualify for the next round
  • One mark will be given for the correct answer, there will be negative marking of half mark for each wrong answer.
Round 2 – “Guess the Output”
  • A set of codes will be given to the participants and they have to find the outputs of the same without practically executing the code.
  • A specific time will be provided to the participants.
  • No negative marking will be done for incorrect answers.
Round 3 – “Hard-core Coding”
  • A set of questions will be provided to the participants.
  • The round will be time specific.
  • The participants will be judged as per the judging criteria mentioned below.
Round 4 – “Blind Programming”

  • Two categories: Hindi and English.
  • The maximum time limit for the song would be 5 minutes including stage setup.

  • There shall be two participants in one team. One participant shall speak in favour of the motion and the other against it.
  • The topic for the debate is "India does not deserve democracy".
  • Tag number will be given to each speaker before the competition.
  • The order of speaking will be decided by draw of lots.
  • Each speaker will be given three minutes to speak. This will be followed by 1 minute or less of interjection by the judge. The speaker exceeding the time limit will be penalized.

  • A team comprises of minimum 3 and maximum 5 members.
  • Teams will be given a product or name of services on the spot. The teams have to prepare an advertisement on it which will be presented in the form of skit. Teams to give an innovative tagline followed by a jingle.
  • Teams will only get 3-4 minutes to perform their skit, jingle and tagline.
  • One hour will be given to each team for preparation.
  • Half a minute will be there for the interjection round.
  • The advertisement should be in English or Hindi.
  • Caution should be taken to refrain from displaying obscenity, violence, prejudice, defamation, etc. in the skit.
