Rules

• There shall be two participants in one team. One participant shall speak in favour of the motion and the other against it.
• The topic for the debate is "India does not deserve democracy".
• Tag number will be given to each speaker before the competition.
• The order of speaking will be decided by draw of lots.
• Each speaker will be given three minutes to speak. This will be followed by 1 minute or less of interjection by the judge. The speaker exceeding the time limit will be penalized.
• Participants should refrain from any paper or aid. Unparliamentary language should not be used. No personal comments or observations should be made against any religion, caste, community, political party or individual.
