Designing on walls is not just a baby-game anymore. If you think you channel your inner Banksy, then come out and be unafraid to spray paint the walls with beauty and art and your expression. Make it iconic. Make it legendary. Those unused paint brushes and empty walls await you. Eagerly.
Rules and regulations:
- TEAM EVENT - consisting 2 members each
- TWO ROUNDS
- First Round – Prelims
- Second Round- Urban art war
- TIME SLOT
- Round 1 –1 hour
- Round 2 – 2:00hours
- JUDGING CRITERIA
- Lettering – Showcase us fresh lettering, for we are looking for solid lettering structures.
- Concept - The crew must address the assigned word with a concept. This is where characters, backgrounds, and messaging are considered. The concept is provided by the organizer.
- Color - Judges will be looking to see how well you used color to make your art pieces burn.
- Originality - Judges are looking for something new and different than what you usually do. Surprise us. Also your style must be unique, as opposed to clearly being a derivative of someone else’s style.
- Technique - Here is where we consider your control, and what you do with techniques that sets your piece apart from the pack.
- THEME
- Round one - Open theme
- Round two – To be disclosed on the spot. (one hour prior to the event )
- GUIDELINES
- Do not bite (copy) someone else work.
- Participants have to use any type of colors and brushes for the first round which they have to bring themselves.
- only 2 cans of Spray paints will be given in the final round.
- All biters/fakers/haters will not be welcomed.
- All graffiti should be made on the canvas only.
- No adult content will be entertained.
- Non cooperative behavior of the contestants can lead to disqualification.
- Decision of the judges will be final and binding. There is no appeal process.
- Protests are prohibited and will not be accepted regarding any score or result of a decision.
- Materials provided – canvas for 1st round and 2 cans of spray paints for 2nd round.
- Participants have to bring their own equipment’s except the above stated (like brushes, paints, stencils etc.)
