C-PROGRAMMING

Called the coding guru of your group? Think you can handle a gruesome round of back-to-back coding mind warps that are sure to put to test all that you thought you knew about the C-Language? Well then hop right into C-Mania, where we test the programming skills of this tech generation.



Rules and regulations:
  1. Individual Event

  2. Number Of Rounds- 4

  3. First two rounds will be held on Day-1 and the next two will be on Day-2.



Round 1: MCQ

  1. Divided into 4 sections.
    - 20 Basic Questions.
    - 15 Debugging Questions.
    - 15 Error Finding Questions.
    - 10 Current Affairs in C. Time Allotted: 1 Hour.



Round 2: Programming Simplified

  1. The participants have to showcase their programming skills.

  2. They will be provided 2 questions each of easy, medium and hard difficulties.

  3. There will be certain programs written in sheets and they will be kept in a bowl. Different bowl for different difficulties.

  4. Participants will draw out 2 sheets from each bowl and compile the program.

  5. Time Allotted: 1.5 Hour.



Round 3
  1. Participants need to create a program for the given topic, the best they can.

  2. After completing, the participants will need to present the program and output.

  3. Queries can be asked by other participants as well as the judge.

  4. Time Allotted for creating program: 30 Min.

  5. Time Required for entire round: 1 Hour.



Round 4
  1. A program is to be compiled while the monitor will remain off.

  2. The participant after finishing the program is to call the judge and after calling the judge, they can turn the monitor on.

  3. Time Allotted: 30 Min.



General Rules
  1. Turbo C will be installed to compile the code.

  2. Participants are not allowed to carry their own laptops

  3. System will be provided in the college for the competition.

  4. The participants will be accountable for any damage that occurs to the systems.



Judging Criteria
  1. Presentation.

  2. Time.

  3. Accuracy.

  4. Efficiency.

  5. Communicational Skills.

  6. Confidence.

ROCKIN' ROBOS



ROBO RACE

While face many hurdles and different terrain types, most efficient and the fastest robot wins the race. War does not determine who is right. Only who is left. Right? It's not a contest, it is War. Bring out your warrior attitude. Build up your robots and prepare to attack. This is the Robo race, and ain’t nobody is backing down.

Rules and regulations:
  1. Participating team is required to bring its own manually controlled robot.

  2. Robot should be custom made, not readymade. However, components required can be purchased.

  3. Robot can be wireless or it can be wired; it’s up to the team according to their convenience.

  4. There will be a track provided to the participating teams, including of several kinds of hurdles.

  5. Robot finishing the race in the minimum time will be declared winner.

  6. Resetting of robot is allowed with a penalty of 15 seconds.

  7. A team may consist of a minimum of 1 & maximum of 3 members.

  8. There is no restriction to the number of teams participating from same educational institute.

  9. All students with a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes are eligible to participate.

  10. During the Rounds, only maximum of two team members are allowed in the arena, one member will control the robot and other to guide it. However, teams are allowed to switch members in different rounds.

  11. Teams have to be ready with their bots. No time will be given once the robot is on the Arena. If the bot is proved to be inactive for more than 60 secs, it is disqualified.

  12. Event Organizers will only provide arena for Bots nothing else.

  13. Judges’ decision will be final and binding.



Judging Criteria
    Round 1
  1. • The participating robots are allowed to pass through a series of All- terrain Tracks. The robot which gains maximum points is taken into consideration for next round within the stipulated time (say x-minutes – disclosed on the spot). It’s not compulsory that you finish the track. Placing of the points will be disclosed on- site. Points are the checkpoints.

  2. Round 2
  3. • The Round 2 will be a challenging track which will be disclosed on-spot. This track comprises of different terrains which test the ability of the performing robot to pass the different Terrains and get through the Finish line. The judging criterion of this event is based on each terrain track points and time constraint. The robot scoring the maximum points based on these two judging criteria is merited.



  4. Fielding Bot Specifications:
  5. The bot must fit into a cube of 300 mm x300 mm x300 mm (l x b x h).

  6. The battery used cannot exceed 18 V. The power supply may or may not be on board.

  7. Bot can be manually controlled using a wired or wireless system or autonomous robot

  8. Track specifications: - It’s totally a dirt track consisting of bumps, jumps, ditches, sand, swamp, bridges, inclinations........
