RULES AND REGULATIONS
- This is a team event
- All dance forms are allowed
- Theme: Fusion. Deviation from the theme will lead to disqualification
- Team size: 7 - 20 members. On stage limit is of 15 members, except for the third round.
- Only 2 volunteers per team are allowed, excluding team instructor/ non-performer choreographer (if any)
- Exceeding the limit of participants and volunteers will lead to disqualification.
- Decision of judge(s) will be final and binding
- Rules are subject to change according to the organisers
- Teams have to report on the time given otherwise it will lead to disqualification
ROUND 1: ELIMINATION ROUND
- Teams must send a short snippet of 3 to 4 minutes of their performance at groupdance@zestxaviers.in
- Last date of submission is 5 January 2020
- Sending an edited video will lead to negative marking
- All the members in the video must be present during the actual performance
- No costumes are required in this round
- Voiceovers and fusion music is allowed
- Vulgarity and obscenity at any point is strictly prohibited. It can lead to immediate disqualification. Songs to be chosen accordingly
- The mail must include contact details of the appropriate person to coordinate with
ROUND 2: Showcase Round
- Selected teams from Round 1 will perform the same extended performance as performed in the Elimination Round. This performance will be subject to judgement again
- Time limit: 6-8 minutes
- All the rules of the Elimination Round will be followed in this round too
- Teams will not be allowed to change their tracks or team members
- All selected teams will be allotted green room in this round
ROUND 3: Prop Round
- The organisers will provide props and music
- Props will be decided through lots at the end of Round 2
- There will have to be at maximum 7 dancers on stage for this round

- The event comprises of 4 rounds:

RULES AND REGULATIONS
ROUND 1: Trial ‘n’ error (Video Prelims)
- Interested candidates are required to send their own prepared routine to steppinoutzest20@gmail.com with their Name, College Name and Contact No. latest by 5 January 2020.
- Time limit of the video should be 60-90 seconds
- Negative marking will be exercised for exceeding the time limit.
- All dance forms are allowed, including classical, semi-classical and folk.
- Fusion of songs and voiceovers are allowed.
- Vulgarity and obscenity at any point is strictly prohibited and can lead to disqualification; songs chosen must have appropriate lyrics.
- Props are not allowed; use of same will lead to disqualification.
- The video sent should not be edited, it should be uncut; sending an edited video will lead to disqualification.
ROUND 2: Best foot forward (Ground prelims)
- Participants selected from round 1 are required to perform the same routine with a revised time limit of 3 minutes.
- Negative marking will be exercised for exceeding the time limit.
- All dance forms are allowed including classical, semi classical and folk
- Fusion of songs and voiceovers are allowed.
- Vulgarity and obscenity at any point is strictly prohibited and can lead to disqualification; songs chosen must have appropriate lyrics.
- Props are not allowed; use of same will lead to disqualification.
- Costume usage between the performance will not be counted as prop usage.
- Participants must submit their songs in a pen drive, 60 minutes prior to the event; use of mobile phones is not allowed.
ROUND 3: Battleground (beats v/s taal)
- Participants selected from Round 2 will qualify for round 3 i.e. Battle Round.
- In this round, there will be a face-off between 2 participants
- Each bout will run for 3 minutes. Each participant will be given 1 minute to put his/her best foot forward after which there will be a final showdown of 1 minute between both the participants.
- Songs will be played on spot.
ROUND 4: The last dance (final round)
- The selected participants will brace themselves for “The last dance"
- In this round each participant will be provided with a prop.
- A music track will also be played on the spot.
- Decision made by the judges shall be final and binding.

GENERAL RULES
- Team size- Two members in each team.
- The event comprises of 3 rounds:
ROUND 1: Elimination Round
- Time limit is 2 minutes for each performance.
- Judges hold the right to stop a performance in between.
ROUND 2: Showcase Round
- Extended version of the first round to be showcased by the participants.
- Time limit is 3-4 minutes for each performance.
ROUND 3: Final Round
- All the participants will be allotted an iconic duo and a song on spot
- Equal time will be given to each duo for preparation for the finals
- Time limit is 2 minutes for each performance
