RULES AND REGULATIONS
  • This is a team event
  • Team size: 7-20 members
  • Participants must submit a PDF version of their scripts to streetplay@zestxaviers.in latest by 10 January 2020
  • Subject of the mail must be: (College Name) (Event Name) - Zest 2020 Script
  • Participants must arrive at the venue at least an hour prior to the scheduled time of the event
  • Participants must follow the script sent at the time of the registration. Any deviation without prior approval of the coordinator shall lead to disqualification
  • Maximum of two entries per college is allowed
  • The act can be bilingual - Hindi and/or English
  • Vulgarity or obscenity is strictly prohibited
  • Use of microphones, lights and fire is not allowed
  • Use of props is allowed. Teams must seek prior permission from the Coordinator. Negative marking shall be exercised for teams using props without permission. No props will be provided by the college
  • Any item that is not a part of clothing will be considered a prop. An item of clothing will be considered a prop if it is moved from its initial position during the performance
  • Time limit: 25-30 minutes. Teams shall be marked negatively for exceeding the time limit
  • Participants must introduce themselves after the play. This time will not be included in the time limit given for the act
  • Decision of judges shall be final and binding

RULES AND REGULATIONS
  • For elimination round, teams must send their synopsis at stageplay@zestxaviers.in by 02 January 2020
  • Selected teams will get to perform their act on the stage
  • Maximum 20 and minimum 18 participants, including backstage volunteers (which should not be more than 4) will be allowed
  • The play must follow pre-submitted synopsis; any deviation without prior approval of the event coordinator will result in disqualification
  • The play must be in Hindi/ English/ Mime
  • Vulgarity, obscenity and better insinuation should be avoided; only innocent satire or humour is expected
  • Participants should bring their pen drives with them and are expected to appoint someone to sit and operate it, if required
  • Accompanists will not enter the stage
  • Props can be used if endorsed by the event coordinator (tables and chairs will be provided according to availability)
  • Lighting of candles , matches or cigarettes on the stage is not allowed
  • Time limit: 25-30 (including stage set up) A warning bell will be rung after 25 minutes. Teams shall be marked negatively for not adhering to the time limit
  • Decision of the judge(s) will be final and biding

RULES AND REGULATIONS
  • Theme for the enactment is open
  • Time limit: 5-8 minutes
  • Medium should be Hindi, English or it can be mime
  • Obscenity and vulgar language is strictly forbidden
  • Props can be used if endorsed by the event coordinator
  • Participants are required to carry their own props
  • Lighting of candles, matchsticks, cigarettes or use of any hazardous items on the stage is not allowed
  • Participants will be marked negative for exceeding the time limit
  • Last minutes changes can be made in the above mentioned rules by the judges or the organisers
  • Decision of the judge(s) shall be final or binding
